South San Francisco, CA October 1, 2015
The Ponderosa Elementary School Family Math Night on September 24th was a great success as the South San Francisco Unified School District continues to find creative ways to assist students, parents, and guardians in learning to successfully understand the new methods taught in the Common Core State Standards. “A new twist this year, teachers hosted the games and did a fantastic job!” said Dr. Shawnterra Moore Thomas, the District’s new Superintendent. “We are working diligently to engage our families in math nights and encourage our parents to read the newsletters and check the School websites for any upcoming events.”
