Molloys Chili Cookoff * Farmers Market and Lots of Weekend Fun!

We have some great local happenings this weekend!

SATURDAY FARMERS MARKET

SATURDAY: Farmer’s Market starts again this Saturday at Orange Memorial Park 10-2pm just in time to get some delicious and sweet cherries and cool cucumbers.   The Pacific Coast Farmers Market has let us know to expect the return of some of our favorite venders including:

Lemus Farms: Look for luscious plump blackberries and sweet little raspberries, perfect for a fruit salad for Memorial Day picnics. They have very nice-looking fava beans, too.

Lujan Farms: Cherries are here in glorious red and yellow mounds! Bings, Brooks, and Rainiers are here to enjoy. Watch for their Elegant Lady peaches as well.

Golden Coast Bee Collective: Gourmet honeys from the mountains, valleys, seacoasts and back yards of the San Francisco Bay Area. They also have honeycomb!

Haley Sausage Company: Handmade chicken apple sausages, flavored pork sausages (spicy, bratworst, Italian), and other varieties. Great for a quick lunch or dinner.

Beckmann’s Old World Bakery: Their healthy whole grain and whole wheat breads are awesome, their marble rye to die for, and their cheese sourdough amazing. For a sweet treat try some of their pastries and shortcakes.

Brothers Ranch: Organic asparagus, kale, Swiss chard, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, and potatoes, great for your Memorial Day cookout. Try their awesome strawberries and raspberries, too. Check out the peas and fava beans for spring!
