ApplicationTo Fill College Board Vacancy

The San Mateo County Community College District today released an application form for candidates who wish to be considered to fill the vacancy on the Board of Trustees that was created when long-term Trustee Helen Hausman retired on May 1.  By law, the College District Board has 60 days from May 1 (or by June 29) to make a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy.  If the Board does not act by June 29, the County Superintendent of Schools will order an election.

The application form can be viewed and completed on line at www.smccd.eduor it can be obtained from the receptionist at the District Office at 3401 CSM Drive , San Mateo CA   94402 .  The deadline for the receipt of applications is 5 p.m. on Tuesday May 28.  The application and accompanying materials can be emailed to brooksv@smccd.edu or delivered to the District Office by the deadline.
