SSFPD report – Attempted Robbery and Assault With A Deadly Weapon

On May 11, 2013 at about 2:30 a.m., a South San Francisco resident was assaulted by two males while he was walking near Airport Boulevard at Grand Avenue. The suspects assaulted the victim using a metal pipe and tried taking his wallet while he was down on the ground. The suspects fled in a dark colored, 4-door sedan with the last three numbers on the license plate reading, “200”. The vehicle was last seen driving on northbound Highway 101 from Grand Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital due to non-life threatening injuries and so that he could receive further medical treatment. The following is a description of the suspects:

1. Pacific Islander male, about 20-25 years old, about 6’2 with a muscular build. Last seen wearing a red baseball cap (possibly a Cincinnati Reds hat), black jacket and blue jeans.
2. Pacific Islander male, about 20-25 years old (no further description).
