Hi South City! Just wanted to pass along this opportunity for a FREE training series on working with coalitions to reduce the impact and harm of alcohol. You will learn valuable and transferable skills in community organizing, data collection, public health, and policy advocacy. ANY and ALL SSF residents are encouraged to attend, as we need your voice and community input to guide our efforts in making our community safer and healthier. This six-day, $21,000 training has been paid for through a Drug-Free Communities support grant that the North County Prevention Partnership (NCPP) was awarded in 2012 to do prevention work in South San Francisco. The DFC support grant provides $125,000 per year for five years, with the option of renewal for years 6-10.For more information, please visit our website at: www.ncppsanmateo.org and like us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ncppsanmateo
