Undeterred by the fast moving fire earlier this month that damaged their car, South City residents Loretta & Chuck are back to work caring for our mountain
Talk about dedication! The September 7th fire on the south side of San Bruno Mountain caught two South City residents by surprise as can be seen in this photo of their Camry which was parked up at the old Hillside School, as they were out helping to care for the South City side of the mountain.
Loretta and Chuck are the leaders in the SSF Weed Warriors program which is part of San Bruno Mountain Watch Conservancy and they also are forefront in spear heading the efforts to keep our SIGN Hill as open space for all to enjoy (vs development)
Loretta & Chuck invite folks out to help them this Fri & Sat Sept. 27th & 28th 9am to noon, meeting up in the parking lot at the Mills Montesori School (old Hillside School) Nothing stops these two and their dedication is inspiration.
