Thanks to our neighbor on Dublin for calling police when they found out the white male in his mid 40’s, med build about 5’7″, who came to their door at 7pm last Friday was NOT a Comcast employee as he had said he was. Our neighbor double checked with Comcast to be sure they did not have service pending in that area, and then the contacted PD…… and now we have this official warning.
So now we have more validation for your concerns posted here week, starting with the warning from Gene Lam and additional comments that can be viewed HERE. Remember whenever in doubt, do without! Don’t answer that door or give information unless you are 100% sure. Double check by calling the company at the number you have, not one they provide. And contact our police department, that is why they are there. If it is after the fact, call 877-8900 and let them know what took place. This will allow them to follow trends so they can get the word out to us all.
