SF BAY FERRY EXTENDS ITS EXCURSION SERVICE BETWEEN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND SAN FRANCISCO

The San Francisco Bay Ferry announced today the continuation of its popular Wednesday/Friday excursion service between South San Francisco/Oyster Point and San Francisco. The service will be available through Friday, May 16, 2014. This Wednesday/Friday service, which had been scheduled to end on Friday, November 2, is being extended due to public requests. The service operates between South San Francisco/Oyster Point and the San Francisco Ferry Building and Pier 41 (near Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf).

The South San Francisco to San Francisco service is in addition to the SF Bay Ferry’s weekday commuter service between South San Francisco, Alameda Main Street and Oakland’s Jack London Square.

“We are pleased we can continue to offer Peninsula residents this service to San Francisco”, said Nina Rannels, SF Bay Ferry Executive Director. “This Wednesday/Friday excursion service is a great complement to our regular weekday commuter service connecting South San Francisco to the East Bay.”
