It's a GREAT day for baseball!

It’s a GREAT day for baseball!

Help the Fog get to Cooperstown!!
South San Francisco is excited that once again our U12 Fog team has been chosen as one of a select number of teams from across the country to participate in the Cooperstown Dreams Park summer tournament in 2014!

The South San Francisco Fog Team is working really hard to make their dreams come true (from fundraisers to practicing their baseball skills) and would like to ask for your help. The opportunity to play in Cooperstown, New York – the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame – is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these young players and will provide them with wonderful memories and the ability to make friends from around the country. The trip will cost our 15 players and 2 coaches about $1,350 each.

If you know someone on the team, or are just a supporter of youth baseball and believe in the wonderful values it teaches our kids, please help make this dream come true for our boys. Your donation will go directly to the expenses needed for their trip and will not be taken for granted.

We know how hard it is to part with hard-earned money, and how easy it is to ignore an email/Facebook post, but please take a moment to look at our team picture and ask yourself, “Would I buy a candy bar, or raffle ticket, from one of these young men if they were at my doorstep?” If the answer is yes, would it be so different for you also take a few minutes to donate a few dollars on line (particularly if you are too far away for them to appear on your doorstep)?

For our super-supports that generously donate $150 or more we will happily send you a SSF Fog Supporter t-shirt!

Thank you in advance for your help! Go SSF Fog!
