Local and regional police now have additional tools in soliciting the public’s help in finding wanted suspects. It is an easy to use online format that does not track your internet IP address, however you are given an option to include contact information if you choose. This new website will help our communities from the Oregon border to Monterey covering 15 counties:
- Alameda County
- Contra Costa County
- Del Norte County
- Humboldt County
- Lake County
- Marin County
- Monterey County
- Napa County
- Mendocino County
- San Benito County
- San Francisco County
- San Mateo County
- Santa Clara County
- Santa Cruz County
- Sonoma County
In addition to reporting possible suspects a person can track the status of any anonymous tips they give. The public can also access this website to see who is wanted, for what crimes, and the law enforcement agency that is seeking the arrest. As of this date there is one suspect wanted by the Belmont Police and one suspect wanted by San Mateo police. The list also includes the notorious three escapees from Alcatraz which took place back in 1962.
Currently South City does not have any suspects listed on this particular site yet the City has it’s own Most Wanted Section on the City website HERE . Below are two of the most wanted suspects from our city for 2013 crimes committed; Erwin Soto (alias Jose Rios, Edwin Sortogudiel) wanted for 10.31.2013 rape and Ricardo Palakiko-Garcia for the 9.18.2013 armed robbery, burglary, and prescription fraud. There is a $100K warrant for Palakiko-Garcia’s arrest.
If you have any information on any of these crimes you can contact South San Francisco Police at 877.8900 or you can leave a message on the anonymous tip line at 952.2244. For any crimes or sighting of suspects in real time please call 911.
