SSFPD Media Release: Residential Burgulary on Brunswick

On December 30, 2013 around 6:50pm, South San Francisco Police Officers were called to the 3700 Brunswick Court after resident saw two people breaking into his neighbor’s home. When officers arrived in the area, they located Latrell Shaw (age 19) and Leonard Howard Jr. (age  18) of San Francisco.

Officers also found two homes that had been burglarized; one of which was occupied at the time of the burglary. Shaw and Howard were found to be in possession of burglary tools as well as items stolen from at least one of the burglarized residences.

Shaw and Howard Jr. were arrested and booked into  the  Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City for burglary, conspiracy, possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property. Citizens are reminded to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior seen in your neighborhood. Thanks to an observant citizen and a quick police response, these two burglars were apprehended.

Both suspects are from San Francisco:

Latrell Shaw: Laborer

Leonard Howard Jr: Janitor

Please note this was brought to PD’s attention by a neighbor who called police when he saw something suspicious. Please continue to look out for each other, call 911 ANYTIME there is a concern in real time. Big thanks to our neighbor for looking out.

Additional  concern is one of these burglaries occurred when the home was occupied.
