SSFPD Media Release: Strong Armed Robbery On Aspen

On January 2, 2014 at about 11:38 PM, an unknown male suspect approached a victim from behind as the victim was getting into the driver’s side door of his vehicle that was parked along the 200 block of Aspen Avenue. The suspect grabbed a gold chain and gold pendent hanging around the victim’s neck and broke the gold chain causing it to fall to the ground.

No weapon was seen and the victim did not sustain any injuries. The suspect fled the area with the pendant westbound on Aspen Avenue. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, between 30 to 35-years-old, 5’08” tall, clean shaven, thin build, and wearing a dark jacket and dark jeans.
