BOMB Threat at KAISER ER – SSFPD SWAT Respond

South San Francisco, CA   February 3, 2014

This afternoon emergency personnel were called to Kaiser Emergency on El Camino Real in response to a bomb threat. South San Francisco Police SWAT led the investigation and the Fire Department were on hand should the need warrant. Thankfully the threat was unrealized. Those on scene gave a huge shout out of appreciation to our Police and our Fire departments. “Huge props should be given to our brave South San Francisco Police Department  as well as the South San Francisco Fire Department” said a witness on scene. “Kaiser did a great job asking patients to stay in certain areas and provided safe exits etc. Thankfully everything turned out fine.”

We join in the appreciation as we know our emergency personnel, especially our police, never know what may lie ahead on the next call and yet they are undeterred and move forward. We salute them and our Fire Department for always being at the ready.

This is totally inaccurate and flat out false. It wasn’t a bomb threat, some lunatic locked himself in a bathroom and tried to light himself on fire!

Check your facts!
