Education from our community as students visit Dr. Dugoni’s office

South San Francisco, CA   February 5, 2014

One of the best ways to learn something is to experience it first hand in a safe environment. That is exactly the education our kids receive when they are able to go off campus and into the world and see things behind the scenes.

Dr. Dugoni has been providing this opportunity for our students for a while now and today his Orthodontic Practice received another class from Sunshine Gardens Elementary School.  The 2nd graders were taught how to keep their teeth healthy, how to brush and how to floss. Going to the dentist can be traumatic for kids so this gentle informative behind the scenes experience helps kids feel comfortable as they explore the office and see the tools of the trade, including those of an orthodontist.

Everything South City salutes Dr. Dugoni and his staff for once again reaching out to our community and teaching our youth about dental health while allowing them to see behind the scenes of a dental office. We wonder how many of these kids may just go on to become dentists themselves.  Shouts out to our great teachers and administrators and to the parents for working to make this great experience happen.

From Dr Dugoni’s office, “Thank You Sunshine Gardens 2nd Grade class for coming to our office for a wonderful field Trip. We Hope everyone learned about how to keep their teeth healthy, how to brush and floss and what happens at an orthodontic office. – Dr Dugoni and Staff”
