On March 8, 2013 our city lost one of it’s finest business owners, Lalo Haro, owner of La Tapatia. His daughter Barbara Haro reached out to us with this message. We look forward to seeing many friends at this upcoming mass.
It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since this wonderful man, Eduardo “Lalo” Haro, left this Earth. He is now at peace, with his beloved wife, Graciela. Please join me and my family, as we celebrate and remember my father, at a Holy Mass in honor of the 1st Anniversary of his death, this Saturday, 3/8, at 10:00 am. All Souls Church.
Mr. Haro made the best tortillas~! and guacamole to die for. His absence is felt behind the counter helping out.Sadly I did not find out until this year that he left us.This man worked hard, long hours to bring us the menu we now can’t live without and fortunate to have in our nabe. He had a vision and lived his dream. I used to live in San Francisco, and remember him from La Palma, perhaps this is where he learned the business and lucky for us. Rest in Peace Mr. Haro, we won’t soon forget you.
Your father was a wonderful man who always supported his local community. He was always their to donate food to the local community center for our annual holiday program. He was a very loving and compassionate man who is truly missed. May GOD surround your family with love and compassion always.
