On Sunday March 9, 2014 at approximately 1:36AM, a South San Francisco resident was the victim of a strong-arm robbery. The victim was walking along the 300 block of Commercial Avenue when he was approached by three males. One of the males punched the victim two to three times in the head, causing him to fall to the ground. While on the ground, the suspects kicked the victim several times and stole a
$100.00 bill out of his wallet. The victim sustained only minor injuries and did not require medical attention. One suspect, South City resident Boris Chavez (age 32) has been arrested for robbery, conspiracy and gang enhancements and is currently in custody at the Maguire Correctional Facility. The other two suspects have not been identified.
