SSFPD Media Release: Vehicle Arson

On Sunday, March 16, 2014, at approximately 2:38am, an unknown suspect set fire to two parked vehicles at the intersection of Eucalyptus  Avenue and Grand Avenue. The South San Francisco  Fire Department responded to the scene and put out both fires. A dark blue or black colored vehicle similar to a Ford Crown Victoria or a Buick Lesabre was seen in the area right after the fires were started. At approximately 3:54am, an unknown suspect set fire to a vehicle parked on the 10 block of Oak Avenue. The suspect is described as a male in his 20’s with dark shoulder length hair, wearing a light colored baseball hat and light colored long sleeve shirt. No one was injured and no structures were endangered during any of the fires.
