We thank our neighbors for sharing information about recent auto break ins and hit & runs that have occurred in various neighborhoods. By sharing these warnings we can all help keep a look out and report any suspicious activity to the police. If in real time, always call 911. Jason Glines from West Winston Manor reports his truck was broken into Sunday night
My truck was broken into last night between 8pm and 8am in the west Winston manor area, nothing taken.
Nobody heard or saw anything, but let’s use this to remember always lock your car and never keep anything valuable in plain sight

*Christine Moore Neighbors car broken into Friday night on King in Serra highlands. Broke side window and popped the trunk looking for stuff. Luckily knows not to keep any thing in his car from a previous incident. Nothing’s safe anymore

Little help please – we rec’d this message and ask that anyone with info to contact PD (anonymous tip line 952-2244)
Hit and run accident at Grand and Locust at 4:15 am this morning. 1994 Ford sedan with major front end damage to the passenger side, missing mirror and fender rubbing against the tire. Possibly dark red or brown, hit neighbors blue Ford truck. Please call SSFPD with any information.

*Justin MacCarthy I think I heard that, I was up for work. I didn’t see anything but I remember hearing tires screeching and thinking it was someone doing donuts. Same time & that is about 2-3 blocks from my house. I wish I had more info to give.

Another Hit & Run:
Little Help please! Our neighbors on the 200 block of Arroyo were awoken yesterday morning to see their car had been hit and the driver had taken off. This happened around 2:15am, some neighbors heard it but didn’t see anything. If anyone has information please contact EverythingSouthCity@gmail.com so we can connect you with the owners of the damaged car.

*Carol Worswick Mazza sorry to see that. My daughter’s truck got hit also awhile ago. It was a hit and run. Too bad the city couldn’t put cameras on the main outlets in each neighborhood. That might end things before it starts. I know it costs money but im willing to pay a tax on that if it would keep our city safe.

*Wilfred Martinez I live on Del Monte Ave and my car was also involved in a hit n run about 3 weeks ago It was stolen vehicle and suspect was not caught
