South San Francisco, CA June 26, 2014 Submitted by John Baker
Preface Everything South City thanks South San Francisco resident John Baker for allowing us to publish his work on the historical significance of our local San Bruno Mountain and the work that was done to preserve the open space. John is currently running for a seat on our School Board (elections November 2014) . His experience includes the SMC Civil Grand Jury, SSF Library Board, SamTrans Advisory Bd, SMC Transportation Advisory Committee, and SSF Youth Baseball. John received his Masters of Public Administration from SFSU in 2012.
Thanks, ESC for reprinting! San Bruno Mountain is one of our city’s best features!
Just noticed a couple pages are missing at the end. There’s a downloadable PDF available at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4tcpFOsI-maS2VqM09zTWlmcjQ/edit?usp=sharing
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have made the corrections and updated accordingly. Again, thank you for sharing this good work on the more recent history of our SB Mountain.
