On Thursday, June 19, 2014 at about 1431 hours, South San Francisco Police Department responded to the area of Aspen Avenue and Cypress Avenue after several witnesses reported hearing what was believed to be several consecutive gun shots.
Upon arrival, a loaded firearm and several bullet fragments were located on Cypress Avenue between 8th Lane and Pine Avenue. Two parked vehicles were struck by bullet rounds.
Witnesses observed shots being fired from a dark green 1995-1999 GMC or Chevrolet 2 door SUV as it slowly traveled eastbound on Pine Avenue and Cypress Avenue. The shots traveled northbound on Cypress Avenue towards 8th Lane. The vehicle then continued eastbound towards Airport Boulevard where it made a left turn on Airport Boulevard headed northbound.
