FROM KEN

Friends,

It is time for me to begin making a transition towards the next phase of my life. I need to begin taking more time for other aspects of life, like meditation, grandkids, and … home repairs.

San Bruno Mountain Watch is beginning a search for my replacement as Executive Director. As you can see from the job description, we are looking for someone with proven fundraising skills along with leadership ability and, of course, a sensitivity to our organization and the mountain. The transition will take place over a year:  I will cut back my hours somewhat while concentrating more on our education program and “breaking in” the new director. The new Executive Director will start by concentrating on fundraising while getting familiar with the whole scope of what we do. I expect to stay involved – this is too great of a place to leave, and positive things are happening that I want to continue being a part of.

The opportunity to watch over San Bruno Mountain as my daily work, and to be shoulder to shoulder with all the people who care passionately about the this jewel of a place, is an honor and a blessing.

Sincerely,
Ken McIntire
