South San Francisco Welcomes Employers and Job Seekers to a Free Job Fair
On Friday, October 24, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the City of South San Francisco, in partnership with the South San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and the San Mateo County Workforce Investment Board, will be hosting the South San Francisco Job Fair. The job fair is open to the public and will take place at the Municipal Services Building, 33 Arroyo Drive, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Employers and job seekers are invited to participate in this free event.
The City of South San Francisco, along with other employers such as the Bon Appetit Management Company, Embassy Suites, Best Buy, and See’s Candies, will be present to recruit, accept resumes and possibly conduct interviews. Jobs vary widely, including service, production, manufacturing, technician, office, warehousing, management, sales, caregiving, childcare, library and public safety. Job seekers can also take advantage of free Résumé critiquing services and access free employment resources at the event.
Residents of South San Francisco will have VIP exclusive access to gain early entry before the general public. This VIP hour is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, followed by general public admittance at 10:00 AM. Early check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. for VIP hour.
