The South San Francisco High School Band is hosting a “Jazz N’ Tamales” Dinner Dance fund-raising non-alcohol event on Friday, Jan. 30th at the South San Francisco Municipal Building, 33 Arroyo Drive. The event will start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Featured will be the South City High Jazz Band under the direction of Mr Dan Talbert.
Please come out for an evening of entertainment while supporting our talented and dedicated young musicians. More information on the flyer below. 
I have been impressed with the student participation in various festive activities around town. The choir at Christmas at the boat lighting at Oyster Point and the Nutcracker at El Camino High is a nice reminder that our future is in our youth. Citywide exposure for this type of invitation to the community of South City makes me realize how lucky we are to live in South City.
Come and support our wonderful students and their band. We are one of a very few Marching Bands left.
