On March 27, 2015 at 9:09 p.m., a South San Francisco resident returned to his home on the 900 block of Mission Road to find an unknown male suspect inside. The unknown suspect immediately fled on foot towards Oak Avenue and Commercial Avenue. Investigating officers later saw a subject matching the suspect’s description near Mission Road and Chestnut Avenue . As officers approached the subject, he fled on foot and was able to evade capture. Police officers have identified the suspect that ran from them, but his whereabouts are unknown at this time. The investigation revealed that the resident’s home had been burglarized by the suspect.
