South San Francisco, CA March 29, 2015
A South San Francisco neighbor wrote and asked “I was just curious if you know anything about the gas pipeline on Hillside Blvd and Holly Ave. I never see anyone working there.” We checked with Sheri Boles with the California Public Utility Commission.
Boles replied with the following information from PG&E “The construction site on Hillside Boulevard in South San Francisco is a tie-in location for work being done at the Hillside Boulevard valve lot. There is a delay in the final tie-in due to pending work on transmission Line 101. The work on Line 101 should be completed in mid-April and the subsequent tie-in at the Hillside location will be completed soon thereafter.”

The green lines are PGE gas transmission lines The red line is liquid fuel running from Brisbane to SFO along 101
