As the end of the school year approaches, Alta Loma Middle’s end of year Great America field trip for their 8th graders is coming up as well. Without any fundraising, the field trip would cost about $50 per student which would limit many students from attending this annual ritual. To that end the students will be holding a Walk-A-Thon on Wednesday April 29th from 2:30-3:30pm and students will have one hour to see how many laps they can make. You can pledge ‘by lap’ for a particular student or make a flat donation. All monies go to help all the students.
The fundraising website is secure, fast and easy to use. At the website you can make a donation in any amount you choose and receive email confirmation of your donation. Your support is important and greatly appreciated. Thank you on behalf of the 8th grade class of Alta Loma Middle School.
As a past parent of students at this school and a product of South San Francisco public schools, I want to commend Alta Loma for even keeping in mind that many of our schools festivities are out of the reach of many many many of our families. That they recognize this and took it upon themselves to try and do something about is highly commendable! THANK YOU!
