SSFPD seek help in possible gang attack

South San Francisco, CA   April 6, 2015 no gangs

On Friday April 3, 2015 at 6:35pm a group of eight young men claiming to be members of the Norteno gang riding in a black SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, confronted another man at the intersection of South Maple and Tanforan Avenue accusing him of being from a rival gang. The man, a resident of South San Francisco, was physically attacked and stabbed yet was able to run to the San Bruno Bart station where he sought help and was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. He denied being a member of any gangs.

I lived in South City for the first 25 years of my life. (1959-1985) The city never had any of this type of crap going on. I can see why soo many people are leaving the city. It’s too bad that crap like that has to happen. It used to be a really great place to grow up. The gangs need to disappear.
