Would you like to know more about City government in South San Francisco?
Have you ever wondered about how City decisions are made, or how City funds are allocated? Learn the answer to these questions and m any more by attending the South San Francisco Citizen’s Academy!
You are invited to participate in this dynamic and fun eleven week course that provides you the opportunity to learn about local government, meet the City Council and get a behind-the-scene tour of City facilities.
Our Fall 2015 Academy sessions will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm each Tuesday evening starting on August 11 through October 20. Each session will include dinner. A graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 28 at the City Council meeting.
By getting engaged and learning about how City government operates, our communication will improve and help us build a stronger community together.
Application forms are available online at www.ssf.net , by calling 829-6648 or by emailing vision@ssf.net. Applications must be completed in full and received in the City Manager’s Office by Friday, July 24, 2015. You may email, fax, mail or hand- deliver your application. A maximum of 30 participants will be accepted for participation on a first come first serve basis.
