John. I read your comment John and you are mixed up. Jacob hit a parked car. There was no one around. Get your facts right before you spout crop out of your mouth that you know nothing about. In your own business unless you have proof

That’s why the stuff this SSFPD puts out to the media is not to be trusted.

Editor: for your information all of your information is incorrect. Jacob Mooney did not hit a tree, he side swiped a car. The police suspected that he was under the influence of something. After giving all the tests, they assumed he was under the influence of marijuana. After a search of his car, they found one half of a Xanax pill. He did have a loaded handgun in his car, but it was not concealed, it was in his back seat. He had been to his fathers house the day before to go to a shooting range and just forgot to unload the pistol. The charge of possession of illegal drugs was dropped as a misdemeanor. When the officers arrived on the scene, Jacob was outside of his car assessing the damage to his car. Who ever gave you the information you published is wrong. It will be very interesting to see the arrest report and what it contains. In my opinion, publishing misinformation is slenderest at the least. Before something is published, get the facts first before you make someone more guilty than they actually are. Signed, Jacobs father

Actually no Jacob was not assessing anything. He was pulled out of his car unconscious .
I was there. My girlfriend was the person he hit. I watched the firemen pull him from the front seat.
