SSFPD Media Release: Strong Arm Robbery

On Monday June 8th at approximately 1:20 p.m., a South San Francisco resident was a victim of a Strong Arm Robbery in the parking lot of a business, located on the 400 block of S. Airport Blvd. The victim was loading her groceries into her vehicle. An unknown suspect approached the victim from behind and forcefully grabbed the victim’s purse and pulling it away from her left shoulder. The suspect fled the scene on foot with the victim’ s purse. The victim did not see the suspect or any associated vehicle.   There were no witnesses to the crime.

 

The victim did not suffer from any injuries and the suspect was not located after an extensive search was conducted.
