Monica Nagy Is New Principal at Skyline Elementary
Monica Nagy has been named principal at Skyline Elementary School by the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees. The board members made their unanimous decision to appoint Ms. Nagy to the position at their June 11 meeting. She comes to South San Francisco from the Franklin-McKinley School District in San Jose where she served as an elementary school principal for the past three academic years. Prior to that, she was a principal at public schools in San Francisco and Providence, R.I. She also has considerable experience in online education.
Also at the June 11 meeting, the District trustees appointed Jason Manviller as assistant principal at both Buri Buri and Spruce elementary schools. He has worked as a teacher in the Anaheim Union High School District and the Magnolia School District; additionally, he was a curriculum specialist in the Santa Ana Unified School District.
