South San Francisco, CA June 24, 2015
The Camarillo family enjoyed an evening at Brentwood Bowl in South San Francisco on Friday June 19, 2015 and returned to their San Mateo home around 9:30pm. Around midnight they heard one of their cars being started and driven off from in front of their Shoreview home. Immediately two family members pursued them in another vehicle while a third family member called San Mateo Police Department to report this incident.
Around 3 or 4am they received the good news from San Mateo Police Officer Trujillo that their car had been located. The bad news is that it had been torched and left in South San Francisco on Mitchell which is in the business district. The Camarillo family is seeking more information if anyone saw or heard anything such as an explosion or fire or any suspicious activity that evening.
The vehicle was a midnight blue hatchback Subaru Impreza WRX. If you have any information please contact the owner Angelica Camarillo at [email protected] and include San Mateo Police Officer Trujillo at [email protected] in the email. You may also contact SSFPD via the anonymous tip line 650/952.2244.
