SSFPD Media Release: Attempted Murder

On Friday, July 10, 2015, at approximately 8:45 PM, two South San Francisco juvenile acquaintances, were involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the suspect removed a box cutter from his pocket and stabbed the victim four times before leaving the scene. The victim was transported to Kaiser hospital where he was treated for his injuries and later released to parents. The 14 year old juvenile suspect was subsequently contacted and placed under arrest for attempted murder and booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility.   The weapon used was located and seized as evidence.
