On Monday June 29, 2015 at approximately 11:10 p.m., South San Francisco Police Department responded to the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Avalon Drive on a report of a non-injury DUI Collision. Brian Choo was traveling northbound on the U.S. 280 off ramp and failed to stop for a red traffic signal at the intersection of Avalon Drive. As a result, Brian Choo collided with another vehicle travelli ng westbound on Avalon Drive. Both drivers and passengers were not injured as a result of the collision. Brian Choo was determined to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Choo was subsequently placed under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
