Early Friday morning, July 24, 2015 at approximately 3:36 a.m., South San Francisco Police Officers responded to the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Tower Place on the report of a solo vehicle traffic collision. Investigation revealed that a 33 year old South San Francisco resident, David Kinsel, was exiting southbound Highway 101 onto southbound Airport Boulevard when he collided with a cement wall while executing the turn. Kinsel initially fled the scene and was contacted at his residence shortly after the collision. Kinsel was determined to be operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and he was subsequently placed under arrest for driving under the influence.
