The Lost Art of Sewing Makes a Big Comeback!

South San Francisco, CA    August 21, 2015
Info provided by Joyce Fritz *EDIT*

The South San Francisco Adult School is offering a great opportunity for those in our community who would like to learn the art of sewing and to those who would like to improve their skills. While once upon a time sewing was something as common as using our computer is today, this art is now making a big comeback thanks to our teachers at SSF Adult Education! This is the perfect class for beginners and those who are accomplished sewers while providing the chance to interact with others who share in this interest.

The Fall class is starting on August 27th and will be held from 7pm-9pm every Thursday at the Adult Education Center located at 825 Southwood Drive in Room 48. The cost for the class is $45, or $40 for those over 62 years of age. You can sign up at any time.

Sewing machines will be available but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. If you are working on a project – bring it! When you come to class more details will be explained and you can also contact 650/877.8844 for more information.
