Neighbors, a couple days ago there was a sideswipe hit and run on a vehicle parked on Galway at Wren Ct. The vehicle that was hit is a late 90’s Tan/silver Acura CL. The side was hit and the mirror was completely knocked off. It is not my car but I live around here and am not going to let a criminal slide if possible.

While no one has come forth to offer eyewitness account, I performed my own detective work by examining the parts left behind that I found under my car which was parked in front of the one that was hit.

– The vehicle which struck the parked car is a 2012 Toyota Rav4 with black mirrors.
– It will have a severely damaged passenger side mirror which will be missing the front cover.
– It is also missing the passenger side fog light cover/trim located in the bumper, in front of the wheel, it is the round light below the headlight.
– It will also have scuff marks consistent with impacting another vehicle.

If you have seen a vehicle with matching damage, or perhaps lent it to someone and they claimed it was hit please let me know. I will be in contact with my friends at Toyota so they’ll know if anyone ordered those parts in this area. I will also contact the local car groups on FB.

I’m doing this because it could have been my car parked there.
I’ve attached a picture of the vehicle type which struck the parked car, though it is not necessarily that color.

Good for you, for reporting and posting a “person behaving badly”. I would have done the same. In the meantime, I hope the damaged car’s insurance policy covers the repairs.
