South San Francisco has been rated within the top ten City’s in which to raise a family by Niche.com. Reasons cited were Crime and Safety, Education, Access to Libraries, Community Grade, Housing Grade, Residents 35-44 yrs old, Residents 9 yrs and younger, Access to Daycare, and Access to Grocery Stores.
South City came in at #9 behind San Ramon, Cupertino, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Pleasanton, St Helena, Folsom, and Truckee. Santa Monica came in after South San Francisco as #10.
