Student Safety, Security to Be Focus of Forum Oct. 8

The South San Francisco Unified School District, in conjunction with the city’s Police Department, will conduct a community forum Oct. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Baden High School gymnasium.

Topics to be discussed include: The overall safety and security of students; communication with children; online issues affecting the young; the role of the Police Department’s resource officers on public school campuses; and other resources available for parents. Matt O’Connor, the city’s Police Resource Officer, will lead the discussions during the event.

Baden High is located at 825 Southwood Drive. Free parking is available on the campus. For more information, contact the District at 650-877-8700.
