Mt Buri Buri continues to be a major problem for neighbors

The construction of new classrooms at Buri Buri Elementary School has continued to cause major problems for neighbors as they (un)affectionately refer to huge mounds of dirt, some over 10 feet tall, as Mt Buri Buri. Neighbors who once had an open field across the street now look out at the back of classrooms and contend with the school’s new parking entrance with parents coming and going dropping off students and blocking driveways.

Reply to  your neighbor

Jack Myers was going to make that corner of the mountain look beautiful, instead the city approved that condo tower that looks horribly out of place and centennial towers which although interesting seems out of place on the mountain. SOme of the new development across the street is not going to win any design awards either.
So many chances to make something amazing and so many safe choices.

This is nice summary of the developments coming to SSF.

I often say when are they going to bring in decent stores to the downtown? We need consmetic, toy, clothing boutiques, instead of delis and eateries. I’m still waiting.I see a few vacant spaces on Grand Ave.

Thank you so much for this compilation.

As a resident(17+ yr) and a C.E.R.T. member of this town, I’ve been learning about how fine SSF is, and will be even better with developments like these.

SSF has $$$$!
