From jingle bells and carolers to the annual radio takeover, nothing quite ushers in the season like holiday music. Throughout the month of December, the City of South San Francisco will offer free concerts at the Downtown Breezeway (356 Grand Avenue) to help residents get in the spirit of the season.
Here is this season’s lineup, featuring local artists and groups:
- **Thursday, December 3, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – The Spice Islander Trio (Calypso Steel Drums)
- Friday, December 4, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – R2PD Trombone Quartet
- Saturday, December 5, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – The Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers (A Cappella)
- Saturday, December 5, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – The Spice Islander Trio (Calypso Steel Drums)
- Thursday, December 10, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Nathan Martinez (Classical Guitar)
- Friday, December 11, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Charlie Gurke and Friends (Sax Quartet)
- Thursday, December 17, 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Kanikapila All Stars (Ukulele)
- Friday, December 18, 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – El Camino High School (Musical Combo)
- Friday December 18, 12:45 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – South San Francisco High School (Sax Quartet)
**Update: Due to bad weather The Spice Islander Trio was not able to perform on Thursday as schedule and has rescheduled to Saturday, 12/5, 2pm to 3pm at the Downtown Breezeway at 356 Grand Avenue.
