Alan Perez has won a $1,000 scholarship from the Northern California Chapter of the National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame, it was announced Jan. 14 during a meeting of the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees. Alan is a senior at South San Francisco High School where he played football, continues to excel in the classroom and is active in the community. He is the student body president at the school. He also is the current student member of the District Board of Trustees. He will be honored, along with other scholarship recipients, at a dinner in February.
