Two new members of the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees were sworn into office Feb. 11. John Baker and Daina Lujan will fill Board seats left vacant late in 2015. Both trustees were appointed on a provisional basis. Mr. Baker takes the seat of Maurice Goodman who was elected to the San Mateo County Community College District Board of Trustees in November. Ms. Lujan assumes the seat of Rick Ochsenhirt who died in December. Both new Board members can seek election to the posts in this coming November’s election.
