South San Francisco, CA March 21, 2016 Press Release
Baby Boot Camp, the stroller fitness and nutrition program for moms, is pleased to welcome its latest bundle of joy, Baby Boot Camp SSF, with a Grand Opening Celebration at Oyster Point Marina/Park on April 8th, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Delivered by nationally certified fitness professionals, Baby Boot Camp’s stroller-fitness classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills in 60-minute sessions. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength.
“We are thrilled to help improve the health and wellness of South San Francisco families,” says Kristen Horler, CEO and founder of Baby Boot Camp. “Baby Boot Camp is not just about losing weight. We are so excited to help South San Francisco and peninsula moms seeking to support nutrition, fitness and healthy lifestyle habits in their families and their communities.”
In addition to STROLLFIT stroller fitness classes, Baby Boot Camp offers a 5K Training Program as well as StrollerFriends®, a free moms’ club to support healthy families, according to Owner and Instructor, Robyn Landa
“We are a fitness program for moms of all fitness levels: pregnant mom, new mom recovering from pregnancy, and the conditioned mom with stroller-aged children. Classes allow you to get in shape and be with your little one all at the same time.” Landa says. “I am very excited to bring the Baby Boot Camp program to my community.”
Landa, who is mom to her 18-month old son, is a nationally certified group fitness instructor and lifelong competitive athlete who started taking Baby Boot Camp classes herself when she was eight weeks postpartum.
