Brittney Cedeno, a star sophomore point guard at South San Francisco High School, has been named Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year by the San Mateo Daily Journal

Brittney Cedeno, a star sophomore point guard at South San Francisco High School, has been named Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year by the San Mateo Daily Journal. Brittney led the 2015-16 Warriors to a co-championship of the Peninsula Athletic League North. The team went on to play for the Central Coast Section Division III championship. The Warriors also secured a berth in the Northern California Regional Division III state tournament. During the season, Brittney averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals per game.
