South San Francisco, CA April 19, 2016 Submitted by Congresswoman Speier’s Office
The Helen Fisicaro for Supervisor Campaign is delighted to announce that Congresswoman Jackie Speier has endorsed Helen Fisicaro for Supervisor in San Mateo County’s 5th Supervisorial District. Citing Helen’s record of accomplishments as a City Council Member and community activist, Speier was enthusiastic in her endorsement.
“At a time of skyrocketing rents and transportation gridlock, we need the experience of a proven leader, said Rep. Speier. “We need Helen Fisicaro as our next county Supervisor. Helen won’t sit on the fence or hesitate to do what’s right against powerful interests and she will collaborate with all electeds at every level of government. She is best positioned to carry on the great work that her predecessor Supervisor Adrienne Tissier has done during her term in office.”
“I am most grateful and incredibly happy to receive Rep. Speier’s endorsement,” said candidate Fisicaro. “With endorsers like Congresswoman Speier and Supervisor Tissier, my campaign is getting a great boost and I am being challenged with the responsibility of living up to the trust these two great public servants have placed in me. I will continue to work hard to get the results our community expects from its elected representatives.”
Helen Fisicaro is running a vigorous grassroots campaign for Supervisor in District 5 which encompasses much of Northern San Mateo County. The election takes place on June 7, 2016. www.HelenFisicaro2016.com
