Dorothy Abreu-Coito has been named Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services for the South San Francisco Unified School District. She was appointed to the position, effective July 1, by the District Board of Trustees during its meeting April 14. The vote was unanimous. Ms. Abreu-Coito has 24 years of experience working for Bay Area school districts. Most recently, she has been a principal and Director of Instructional Services in the Sunnyvale School District.
