Lynn Wright shared this photo along with the question “Hi, does anyone have information on the company and date that is on a few sidewalk places on Grand Avenue?” on our Facebook page. Always engaging and ready to supply the community with information, our South San Francisco Historical Society replied “T. C. Rice was a local foundation contractor as well as the County Recorder. Here is his listing from the 1909 Redwood City Directory.”
