SSF Food Distribution Program to Continue Through Summer

A regular monthly food distribution program at the South San Francisco Unified School District’s Adult School will continue to operate through the summer.

 

The program, which aids needy families in South San Francisco, is a joint effort undertaken by the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, the Institute for Human and Social Development, Samaritan House and the District.

 

The program is available to qualifying residents on the third Tuesday of each month from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Adult School gymnasium, located at 825 Southwood Drive. Currently, about 120 families are taking advantage of the program.
