On 05/08/2016, just after midnight, South San Francisco Police Officers responded to 41 Oak Avenue on the report of a non-injury hit-and-run collision. Witnesses at the scene provided officers with a description of the driver and his vehicle. Officers located the involved vehicle on Airport Boulevard at Miller Avenue as it attempted to enter US highway 101 north. Officers contacted the driver, who was identified as 30 year old Rogelio Morales-Saraccini of San Francisco. The police investigation revealed that Morales-Saraccini had been driving his vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Morales-Saraccini was subsequently arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail in Redwood City for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and fleeing the scene of an accident.
